Essence is a traditional Indian restaurant with a modern twist, on Manchester Rd in Altrincham. We cook classic recipes with only the best, freshest ingredients, and present them in a way that feels new.
Whole spices are toasted and ground in-house, sauces are made when you order, and the clay oven does the rest. It is the kind of cooking that honours where it comes from while welcoming a new way to dine.
